Mission and Vision

Vision Banner

Lincoln School is a diverse and compassionate learning environment
where everyone is engaged in a variety of educational opportunities
that meet the needs of the whole child.

The school community has high expectations that foster academic success
for every student, an intrinsic appreciation for life-long learning,
and create socially responsible and globally aware citizens.

We will demonstrate compassion, respect and responsibility
with the support of, and example set by, all school community members
-in a variety of environments- as evidenced by improved character
and academic achievement.

The focus of our school improvement plan is to align our school practices
and conditions with our Vision Statement through implementation of
research-based practices and strategies in areas targeted for improvement
based on data and authentic student outcomes.  A vision that is shared,
not just in its development but also in its implementation, compels everyone
to work together in our strife for improvement and progression.
The creation of this vision sets in motion an improvement process that
follows - and most importantly - it compels people to action.
